Let's get on and let the pictures do the talking. It actually took me 3 days to load these essence. Really a test of my patience.
The bad thing is to have to wake up so early but the good thing is I could finally get a plane ride in the day.
We always get to hear this word "chui", but what is the real meaning behind this word?
Look at our chui faces
Shouldn it be 6 of us? Our dear Ernest could not make it and left the 5 of us to conquer Phuket. I shall give Ernest some credits for sending us goodbye messages at 6am.
I can only say that I tend to be more vulnerable when I'm not activated. If my engine is running, I won't allow such pictures to be taken.
On board the plane. Notice this Ah Gong on the right..

This is the way he made himself immune to his granddaughter's cries. Man, that kid cried almost the whole journey and I was so tempted to pinch her for being so noisy.
Here we go! Our journey starts here.

This is the road which leads us to our resort. Don't look nice at first sight, wait till you see what it can bring us to.
Pacific Club Resort
This is the entrance of the resort.

The lobby

The kitchen. This is what we see when we enter our apartment.
Our walk-in wardrobe.

The living room, which gave us the really cosy feeling.

The balcony, its actually L-shaped couldn really capture the whole of it. Notice the 2 columns of glass panels, what lies behind it was the guys' bathroom. Lucky the girls' toilet wasn't like this.

This is taken from our balcony. Isn't it just so beautiful..
This resort has really done its part of making tourist feel so at home.

This is what we saw when we enter our bedrooms. The swans were made from bath towels.
Erm..
After settling down our baggage and stuff, we went hunting for our transportation for the rest of the stay. Its really sunny there and we came across this 7-11 and suddenly thought of Jon.

This is specially dedicated to Jon.
(Homogeneous tan)We rented a Hi-Lander, its similar to Hylux. And with Lun's GPS, we're more than ready to start our expedition.
The first stop we went was Downtown Plaza, and it turned out to be a market.

This is a mixture of potato and flour. Sounds fattening ain it? But we don't really care. It taste great!

The BBQ pork definitely look fattening but nobody cares. Nothing's stopping us.. muahaha

Time for our daily dose of Vitamin C. We brought fruits back to stock up our fridge. Not only the people there like sweet stuff, their fruits were also sweet.

The carpark exit, our car fits just nicely to this alley.
We made our way to
Promthep Cape in hope to catch sunset.

Might Idy

It was really cloudy that evening, we couldn really see the yolk thou. Guys, being brave, went down hill to capture nice pictures while we girls waited there and feed on wind.
When you feel that you've actually lived enough, you might wanna try Bungee Jump. Being the youngest in the group, Caryn and me felt that we have not lived enough yet and so the rest of them tried bungee jump. Proud of them!
Rule number one: Tuck in your shirt!
Rule number two: Rmb to do some warmup to avoid straining ur body.
Rule number three: Rmb to open your eyes to enjoy the scenary.
Rule number four: Please SHOUT! (if not photographers like me might have thought that you fainted)
We have The Daring..
The Brave one..
The Superhero..

Look at our warriors with their frozen-shaking-forced smile.
Its good that not all of us jump. Time for me to take over the wheel and ensure highest level of safety.
We stop over at this fishing port. Look at the size of their sotong! They're not totally dead yet!
We continued to hunt for Au Sang Beach. According to the book, its a secluded beach and we thought that it might be a really amazing beach. We drove and drove, but sadly it couldn be found. And we came to this place which we were told that there's a beach at the end of the stairs. We pondered a while as we were reluctant to take this staircase. Its not those ordinary stairs in our HDB, every step is like the height from the ground to the kneecap.
Nonetheless, we still walked down..
We made our way to the tourist attraction in Phuket - Phuket Fantasea
It is actually a 3-in-1 combination of our Jurong Bird Par, Zoo and Sentosa.
The tickets were inclusive of a international buffet dinner. Look at the scale of their restaurant. The food was nice, but I still prefer those roadside stalls.

Stranger A decided to occupy a quarter of our photo.

The fake scarecrow with real albino crows on it.
At Karon beach
The waves were really huge! They're about 2m tall. I was standing on the beach where the water level was just at my ankle and below, when the wave came crashing down, the water level rise straight up to my chest level. How cool is that! Come to think about it again, its actually really scary.
Awaiting for the wave
Waiting..

Boom!! The power is enough to sweep me back on shore. Best natural jacuzzi.

My all-time-favourite jumpshot.

Lisa enjoying sand spa.
We decided to have
poolside lunch back in our resort since we were already wet. And ooh, I don't know what word can I use to describe. Relaxing, Shiok, Heaven, Oh My Gosh!!

The best drink to have will be coconut!
Phuket Riding Club
We went horse riding without the guys. (They prefer Thai massage) It was my first time riding a horsey for so long. Its a nice experience, but its too expensive to take up horse riding in SG.

The size of the horse is directly proportional to the weight of the rider. I like my horsey, Wan, is her name. She loves to gallop and when she does that I was so scared that I might just fall off her back. Caryn's horse loves to eat. He kept eating along the way.
Know what is this for?

A simple tool to help remove your boots without bending down. Amazing eh..

We had dinner along the beach after riding.
Kong Ming Lantern

May all our wishes become reality.
Go Kart!
Jung Ceylon
Its Phuket's Orchard Rd with all the shopping centers there. Except that thers roadside stalls on the opposite.
I can swear that the roadside stalls sell really nice food. Let the pictures prove it.

Like crispy pancakes with different flavours. There's even quail egg flavour, which is delicious.

BBQ pork and meat balls

No idea what it is..

This drink stall uncle makes every single cup of beverage with his heart. He will let you taste the drink you ordered until you are satisfied before he gets paid. Really good service just to earn SGD$1/cup.
For sotong lovers, this is a must-try.
The fried chicken taste much much better than those fast food fried chicken we have here.
Steam corn

Eat and walk and eat and walk and eat and walk......

Best invention: Mango Sticky Rice (I still missed it now)

Pancake with chocolate and banana taste just right.
Care for something special and extraordinary?

Cannot see clearly right, nvm, let me zoom-in...

Fried maggots anyone? (OMG!!)
I managed to meet up with Aunty Becky who's working in Phuket. Its been awhile since I last saw her during CNY. It feels great to meet a family member when travelling. Had a great catchup time with her and I do hope to visit her again!

Some of them said we look alike. Good genes must be shared.
While I'm having dinner with Aunty Becky, the rest of them went around Jung Ceylon.

*sigh* Still wanna be 叔叔 when we're out in Thailand. And breaking the law too.
The Big Buddha

Finally, a picture of our vehicle. Its not an ordinary pickup, its a powerful pickup.
I guess that marks the whole 5-day journey. I had a wonderful time travelling with the company and I look forward to travel again together in the near future. To where, its not important. It is the comapny that makes the trip fun and memorable.
Thats for now
